Workers’ Rights + Buy American

Having been raised in a union household, Sarah understands the critical role unions play in lifting up working families. Whether it is pushing for better wages, overtime pay, better benefits, safer working conditions, or paid leave, Sarah won’t just have her door open to unions — she will make sure they have a seat at the table.

Sarah will stop at nothing to make sure that Wisconsin and American workers always come first. She is sick and tired of hearing politicians like Ron Johnson say that unions are a drain on our economy. In the Senate, she will fight to pass the PRO Act to strengthen collective bargaining rights, hold businesses accountable, and prevent companies from undermining union elections. She knows the key to revitalizing the middle class is through good-paying union jobs, and she will also fight to raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour.

Sarah knows that American workers, especially Wisconsin workers, are some of the best in the world. But she also knows that American workers are at a disadvantage when it comes to overseas workers. She knows how important it is to make sure our U.S. tax dollars are spent on American workers. In the Senate, she will fight to pass Senator Tammy Baldwin’s Made in America Act to rebuild our infrastructure with American goods and American parts made with American labor.
